A lab oriented training, designed to bridge the gap between formal academics and industry. This course was originally designed for and imparted to BSNL Engineers. It was later extended to government agencies like Indian Navy and PSUs. Now it has been made open to common public.

It incorporates hands-on training sessions with industry grade networking equipments form Cisco and ZTE, unlike simulator oriented trainings. This course covers all topics of CCNA (R&S) and hence can aid aspirants for CCNA Certfication.

On successful completion, the trainee will be capable of handling networking appliances, independently.

Syllabus

The syllabus have been updated to incorporate the latest topics in networking and to include topics covered under CCNA (R&S), but not limited to. The difference between BCNE and CCNA is that CCNA is a Cisco product oriented course, whereas BCNE is a networking industry oriented one.



Lodging and Boarding

Hostel facility and Mess is available for Rs.100/- and Rs.110/- per day per person respectively. Separate Hostel facility is available for Ladies and Gents. Library, badminton court, table tennis board and other recreational amenities are also available in the campus. Separate quarters with kitchen facility can also be availed for Rs.7500/- per month. (The same can be shared with other trainees)


Certification Process

The certification process consists of four exams (two theory and two practicals), first one will be conducted two weeks into the course and second at the end of the course. On successful completion of the course, the trainee would be awarded with BCNE Certification.
